More Choices! More Exclamation Points!!!
Bargain furniture clients are fun. It's high volume promotional work in a lot of different formats, in at least two different languages. Our client wasn't one of those crazy, side-of-the-highway places like "Crazy Bob's" but they wanted to get pretty outrageous with their messaging: air-powered cash grab booth, spin-the-wheel-to-win type of stuff.

They also owned a more upscale furniture store with a similar promotional schedule, so our team developed campaigns for them side by side. For this client I handled social media "videos," which I created in After Effects using graphics packages developed by another designer for static graphics.

At first I was receiving flattened image files from these designers, but I worked with them to set up Photoshop files that I could use more easily in After Effects with named layers and groups. I then taught them how to use them in After Effects themselves. It was a service that we hadn't offered before and I picked it up and cross-trained it.

I'm still learning motion graphics, but felt this project showcases my ability to take on a new skill and really focus on process and working with a team. I like teams.
